READ.ID – To enhance the excitement of the Karawo Carnival Gorontalo 2019, the Gorontalo Province Tourism Office presents Gorontalo traditional food and snacks on October 4th – 6th.
The Head of Gorontalo Province Tourism Office, Rifli Katili, explained that ” ‘Gorontalo Culinary Expo’ was deliberately presented to increase the excitement of the Karawo Carnival Gorontalo 2019″.
“People who come to this festival can enjoy Gorontalo traditional food and snacks. The Gorontalo Karawo Carnival is usually only filled with one event however, this year there will certainly be more than usual because of the variety of events we will present.”, said Rifli Katili.
Meanwhile, the head of the division of Gorontalo Province Tourism Marketing Development, Ivonela Larekeng, explained that the concept of the festival is like the “Night Market”, which will start on October 4th and continue to October 6th.
“We will provide booths that will be filled by small-medium enterprises of traditional food, along the road next to the official residence of the Governor of Gorontalo,” Ivonela Larekeng said.
Not only that, but the Tourism Office also provides a place for Gorontalo artists to fill events at the Gorontalo culinary Expo, such as stand-up comedy and various other entertainment.
